Many vibrations are natural - hearing a friend speak, feeling the wind in your face, feeling the motion of water. Every day we come into contact with vibration. Using the tuning forks on the body helps to bring your body back into vibrational balance. Currently, I am certified to use tuning forks on the Chakras (energy centers), reflexology points, and acupressure points on the body. ![]() I use various tuning forks, tuned to different vibrational frequencies (notes) to bring healing to the body. This is gently applied to areas of your horse Jess identifies as requiring this therapy by placing the Tuning Fork directly on the area before tapping it gently with a rubber mallet to create vibration.Īlternatively the Tuning Fork may be used a little away from your horse’s skin to begin with to ensure that they will be happy with the noise and vibration on their body, and then once established that the horse is comfortable with this the Tuning Fork is applied to the area whilst it is vibrating. (This is the type recommended by the NEHC Academy, which specialises in Tuning Fork Training). Jess applies Equine Tuning Fork Therapy with a 128Hz Weighted Tuning Fork. There is no reason to that these principles cannot be applied to Equine Therapies. The evidence also suggests that mechanical vibration can create heat in tissues aiding circulation and stimulating the healing and pain relief mechanisms.
